Windows 10 Pro - I no longer have administrative access - Microsoft Community

about 3 months ago went desktop , clicked on blank screen (it had timed out after 4 hours , goes blank screen) seemed slow open window.  after minute or confident became impatient , started clicking mouse button , in fact opened.  however opened unnamed account , did not see how find account.  it blank account.  it not, of course, allow me access of installed programs or secure settings.  it did not have administrative access.

i contacted windows microsoft support , technician came online , after going through list of customary suspects requested permission screen share.  while screen sharing moved open window had information on black screen presumably new account creating.  he worked on several minutes every once in while come screen , provide me brief updates.  he indicated elevating colleague took on screen , screen went black again , came on , asked me something.  they still screen sharing , said needed other things screen went blank , did not come on @ all.  finally after 5 hours assume must have logged off.  i restarted computer , found message presumably there indicates done day.  they never came , never contacted me.  after 2 days contacted microsoft again , went through same screen sharing.  this time became evident when switch new identity called test , did not have access because did not have login information ask me things not see because not screen on.  ultimately after 3 days on , off different tech supports @ microsoft said there nothing except wipe c drive , reinstall.

while confident solution delete c drive , reinstall give me access computer again not resolve underlying problem cannot perform backups on information have because not have administrative privileges on account created me, , cannot retrieve passwords , other information need reinstall software because not have administrative password.

are there no other options?

1  admin prompt - yes, no buttons no need enter admin username or password

2  admin prompt - admin username shown , password entry box {possibly more admin names available if click on more choices} yes, no buttons

3  admin prompt - yes, no buttons no need enter admin username or password yes button greyed out & inoperative [or yes button missing completely].

best of luck,

denis
