My Windows 10 PC automatically shuts down on startup - Microsoft Community

when startup computer, normal hp logo pops , starts load, battery light(the led shows whether laptop charging)starts flashing white(white when battery full)(blinks white light 1 second interval). after couple of flashes shuts down. running setup when laptop ran out of battery(foolish me), shut down. managed start after shutdown, think laptop crashed few minutes later(i wasn't present when did) , messaged popped on loading screen (when started again) showing ' running repairs on hard disk '. unsure of rest of message's contents, because there second before rebooted , loaded normal boot-up. since computer has been shutting down on startup (probably 30-40sec once power button pressed).

more info - longer leave computer chraging longer last on bootup. thing let charge 2 hours , lasted 2 minutes. whenever shuts down after trying boot, have re-insert charger laptop start charging. use hp-envy notebook pc.

this might system issue. since happens when booting up, suggest starting pc in safe mode initial workaround resolve issue. follow steps in article on how start pc in safe mode.

if issue still persists, recommend doing system restore go earlier point in time before issue occurred. refer article , go restore pc earlier point in time section know how system restore.

note: article windows 8.1 applicable windows 10.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
