Never seen anything like this! -- Freezing on fresh install - Microsoft Community

hi,

 

i used pride myself on being able solve problem , being tech savvy. after creating more problems had, humbly, concede , ask help. 

 

main concerns:

 

- freezing [-] stops, 5 seconds later mouse disappears. can recover hard reset. happens randomly, 90% of time after waking sleep. 100% of time when installing firmware (intel mouse, h100 cooler, , motherboard's wifi)

- blue screen of death [-] happens after recovering hard reset , randomly during normal operation.

 

what tried:

 

- updated bios

- updated chipset

- updated gpu

- disabled hard drive sleep in power management

- fresh windows install

- hardware component tests

 

long story

 

10 months ago

with no warning, 1 day couldn't boot windows. windows recovery every time.

after doing fresh install of windows, pc freeze 100% of time after loading windows. freeze happen less 2 minutes after load.

i put c drive computer , worked perfectly, figured must not windows error.

i bread-boarded except power supply , motherboard. no change. 

i re-installed windows yet again , time freezing 80% of time, unless tried install firmware (100% of time).

ran memory check, disk check, cpu check, , intensive gaming. no issues. 

during time, computer never freeze during gaming, during idle times or firmware installs.

 

9-1 month ago

freezes happened once month no bsod.

the freezes became less frequent stopped suspecting hardware failure , content.

 

this month

everything has progressively become worse.

freezing 90% of time after wake sleep.

freezing 100% of time when installing firmware.

freezing randomly every 1-2 hours.

bsod randomly.

bsod 80% of time after hard reset.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
