Windows Ultimate Word Game keeps crashing since the latest Windows 10 - Microsoft Community

did update , new features (particularly new people contacts) keep having word game close out on me. 2 days now.  every time go play, opens , 1/2 through game closes out , doesn't save same continue.

this odd behavior of windows ultimate word game may caused incomplete connection process during installation.

we recommend running windows app troubleshooter. tool able identify root cause of issue , simultaneously fix it.

if above tool not fix it, let try resetting windows store , clearing stored caches. here how it:

  • press windows key + x on keyboard. 
  • click on command prompt (admin).
  • type wsreset.exe, , hit enter.

another way troubleshoot issue restarting windows 10 device. resetting device reset running in memory can cause game freeze or stop responding. follow steps below restart device:

  • press the windows button on device or keyboard, or select the windows icon bottom-left corner of main screen.
  • select power, , select restart.

after performing steps, kindly share result.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
