Home Group & Control Panel in Windows 10 Latest Update - Microsoft Community


hi,

 after recent windows 10 update, don't see "control panel" in start menu on right clicking start.  what has happened it? can somene tell me how appear in start menu pop on right clicking start.

also, couldn't use "homegroup" use share documents etc laptop; now, says "you can password person set homegroup" not show password either in desktop computer or in laptop.

please let me know how solve mess created update?  i annoyed update causes problems!

hi,

the issue you’ve encountered control panel , homegroup can caused corrupted user profile or software conflict has occurred after recent update. learn more this, we’d confirm version , build of windows 10 that’s installed on computer. you may type winver in search box information.

if control panel no longer appears when right-click windows logo, may try pinning instead show either on start menu or on taskbar. this, type control panel in search box, right-click control panel on results provided , select either pin start or pin taskbar.

regarding homegroup issue, we’d know set using desktop or laptop. also, have tried creating new homegroup isolate issue? if you’ve done already, how did go?

let know outcome after performing steps provided.
