Windows Install Server Not Responding in Windows 10 Creator - Microsoft Community

after updates windows build 14393.1770 15063.632 , 16299.19 winx shortcut commands of group 2 ( file explorer , task manager ) , of group 3 ( event viewer, device manager, disk management , power shell ( command prompt ) stopped of working ( in both latest buildouts ).

i not specific errors message install server not responding ( with options: cancel or retry ).

i checked msiexec.exe getting response windows installer ver.5.0.16299.19. also, ran scf /scannow  - no integrity violation found , checked with services.msc  windows installer parameters.  in general tab startup type , service status greyed out.  

someone recommended import .reg file of working system msiserver.  not sure windows installer version file corrupted.

besides used   windows troubleshooter did not find either. know downgrade previous build 14393.1770 problem

will disappear.

how fix annoying problem ?

please advised received recommendations microsoft technet not resolve issue windows 10.

i remind my  issue: when executed winx shortcut file explorer or launched google chrome browser  wis (windows installer service ) starts , freezes. however, not interfere browser performance but

did not allow execute file explorer shortcut.

i solved problem caused by context menu file contextmenu.dll of adobe acrobat 8 pro.

i disabled file in computer startup processes using ccleaner program discover tool. 

interesting enough, problem not observed when used windows 7 or windows 10 ver. 1607.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance.
