Windows Spotlight Lock Screen Picture not changing and no image - Microsoft Community

i had 2 recent updates.  after first update,  windows spotlight lock screen not show description.    somehow after few days fixed itself.   now,  have had new update a  week ago,  , picture not changing not showing descriptions.   stuck same picture.  have rebooted,  put on sleep mode,  signed out.   researched,  of posts year old or include complicated solutions.  anyone?

this issue might have caused corrupted system files or incompatible display driver. troubleshoot issue, suggest reset windows spotlight following these steps:

1. open settings.
2. click on personalization.
3. click on lock screen tab.
4. under background, make sure windows spotlight not selected , change option picture or slideshow.
5. close settings window.
6. press windows key + r open run dialog box.
7. type following path , press enter:
   • %userprofile%/appdata\local\packages\microsoft.windows.contentdeliverymanager_cw5n1h2txyewy\localstate\assets
8. press on ctrl + a buttons select files, , press delete button clear old images.
9. press windows key + r open run dialog box.
10. type following path windows spotlight settings stored , press enter:
    • %userprofile%/appdata\local\packages\microsoft.windows.contentdeliverymanager_cw5n1h2txyewy\settings
11. right-click on settings.dat , roaming.lock individually.
12. click on rename , name them settings.dat.bak and roaming.lock.bak.
13. restart computer, , check if issue resolve.
