Windows 10 Mail Instability - Microsoft Community

i have surfacebook running windows 10..........latest revisions of op system installed continue experience frustrating instability in windows mail:

- closes randomly whilst composing emails

- exchange accounts regularly stop receiving mail , have deleted , accounts re-installed

- defaults arranging "by conversation" when never asked functionality - needless day when toggle off in reading pane account has re-installed again

is else experiencing - seems much worse since last revision of win 10 got installed.

also excel in office 365 works on platform 1 drive suffers chronic instability on wi-fi. files never save , crashes excel app.

mixed reality? why don't microsoft concentrate on getting basics right?

one possible reason why windows mail closes randomly it's having conflicts other programs.

to better know concern, we'd ask information.

- when did issue start?

- version of windows 10? (you may check version pressing windows button , typing winver , press enter.)

- other troubleshooting steps have done far fix issue?

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
