Mystery Hot Key Shrinks all windows forcing manual increase of size - Microsoft Community

background:  i randomly typing , miss key.  i not sure key (or series of keys).

setup:  win10, i7, hp elitebook 8460p,

nicknames:  "old crashy" or "craptop"

problem:  windows has shortcut key shrinks (not minimizes) screens , puts them side side, open, on desktop.

(n.- dozens of screens) (shrunken size to 2"x 2")

n.-  this not useful size anything.  it stops in tracks.

current solution:  manually go each screen , drag them full screen size.  you can hard restart , go through of resaves of recovered docs.  either way, real b**ch.

n.- hard restart, "shortcut of death" resets "shrink" size each window forcing me resize each different programs open windows original/preferred setting.

summary:  i have dubbed "f-you" short cut key.  because if hit magic combo have lost hour of day.  and better way f-you.

this horrific landmine of shortcut key.  the developer created should forced explain publicly.  if reason not enough should fired, stripped naked, flogged, , forced community service have wasted time.  i suspect cumulatively 1000's of person-years.

maybe missing usefulness of wasting hour of time.  help me understand why created.  microsoft, thinking!!?

please excuse rant, have problem 1x/month , after dozens of hours searching solution, have never found one.
