how fix error 651 in windows 10

in windows 10 seeing error message?

make , model of computer?
have done far troubleshoot problem?
how long has been happening?
have installed new software or hardware drivers since started experience problem? if so, , designed windows 10?

problem occur in other user accounts on computer?
version of windows 10 installed: 1507, 1511, 1607, 1703?
version of windows did upgrade from?

error 651 network driver or hardware error , has occurred lot upgraders. here couple of ways address it.

1. navigate control panel, system , security , system.
2. click device manager text link on left.
3. network adapters , check yellow triangles next network card. if there yellow triangle, right click card, select driver tab , update driver software. if there isn’t yellow triangle, right click , select disable. re-enable card. retry connection.

if error clears, no need continue. if error reoccurs, try this:

1. navigate control panel, network , internet, network , sharing center.
2. select ethernet text link next connections.
3. click properties.
4. make sure box next ipv4 checked , box next ipv6 unchecked. if had make changes, retest. if didn’t, move on final step.

final way know of address error 651 reset tcp/ip , disable tuning.

1. open cmd window administrator.
2. type or paste ‘netsh int ip reset reset.log’ , hit enter.
3. type or paste ‘netsh interface tcp set global autotuning=disabled’ , hit enter.
4. reboot , retry.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
