in home have duel 2.4 , 5.0 mhz band speeds. i'm using windows 10. 

for reason can connect @ 2.4mhz not @ 5.0mhz, there setting need turn on , if how find it?

my android cell phone connects @ 5.0 know connection point works.

for better understanding of issue , provide resolution suitable concern, can provide following information?

  • are getting error message when try connect 5.0mhz connection?
  • how far modem/router?
