hello,

i have similar problem.  after upgrading version 1709, seem logged in "public" though had enter normal password microsoft account.  desktop icons missing, taskbar shortcuts missing , acts it's running first time.  if go explorer , open users/"username" account see desktop icons, documents etc somehow i'm not logged account.  hope makes sense.  ideas?

please help!!

i forgot mention cannot system restore grayed out since appear in administrator mode.
