No sound after windows 10 creator's update? - Microsoft Community

hi all,

as title suggest, i've had problem regarding audio since updating windows 10 creators update (installed august 16th, 2017). after restarting laptop, i'll maybe sound length of 5 minute video, it'll cut out not long after. both through headphone jack , speakers, microphone. audio manager doesn't pick on issues. i've updated bios through dell site, , drivers. other ideas?

appreciate giving update regarding troubleshooting steps performed fix issue. suggest roll previous driver , check if helps resolve this. this, kindly follow steps below:

  1. open device manager.
  2. double-click device want roll previous version of driver, , click properties.
  3. under the driver tab, select roll driver.
  4. select ok.

let know how goes after performing suggested steps.

have simple wireless mouse , has worked fine in past sudden freezes when ever move it working fije second after stops in place , moves , , fustrating have deleted device manager deleted drivers rolled previous driver , removed settings , still lags , stops in place fix's? hi david, since you've reinstalled , rolled mouse driver, possible sensor of mouse broken. have tried using mouse on other pcs no problem? we'll looking forward reply. regards.
