Windows 10 1709 Explorer.exe constantly crashing after login - Microsoft Community

hello, 

i have hp 400 g4 updated 1709 update. since upgrade, when user logs in, explorer.exe crashes , unable use computer. 

opening task manager , killing explorer has allowed me troubleshoot issue, have been unable determine cause. msconfig started computer in diagnostic mode of services disabled, enabled 5 services @ time restarted. got 80% through before issue returned , msconfig cleared enabled/disable checkbox using keep track. 

from event viewer there 3 errors repeat following error.

open start, type: cmd
right click cmd
click run administrator

type in @ prompt or copy , paste these 1 @ time : (hit enter after each)

dism /online /cleanup-image /checkhealth

dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth

dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

run system file checker utility:
open start, type: cmd
right click cmd
click run administrator

@ command prompt, type: sfc/scannow

check integrity violations

restart system
