Why is Windows 10 using such little Virtual Memory when I have 16GBs - Microsoft Community

when go performance options > advanced > virtual memory says: total paging file size drives (c: 1 checked). minimum allowed: 16 mb, recommended 2926 mb, , currently allocated: 2944 mb. don't see how makes sense. know backup hdd doesn't need should manually increase c: (ssd)? currently, automatically manage paging file size drives checked.

     - have heard ssds can turn paging file off have heard more people suggest against that.

it's using little system has had need more, yet.

i'd leave settings alone , not worry it.
