proxy settings wont stay off - Microsoft Community

 ever since latest date, every time turn computer on have go turn off proxy settings, refuses save them, i've tried previous solutions , nothing has worked. i've tried fix sugested on internet explorer except when click on settings there no tool option

if proxy won’t retain settings turned off, it’s possible software conflict has occurred after installed updates or configured incorrectly. learn more concern, we’d confirm build , version of windows 10 that’s installed on computer. type winver in search box information.

also, have tried changing proxy settings control panel? if haven’t done yet, follow these steps:

  1. type control panel in search box.
  2. select network , internet.
  3. click internet options.
  4. select connections tab once internet properties window appear.click lan settings.
  5. uncheck use proxy server lan (these settings not apply dial-up or vpn connections under proxy server section.
  6. click ok, apply , hit ok again.
  7. restart computer , check result.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
