Sleep function disappeared after Creators update also screen - Microsoft Community

after creators update sleep function not work, power options has no option sleep.

  1. in start>power sleep not show, hibernate shut down , restart.
  2. cannot change screen brightness, buttons stopped working, action center lost screen brightness button, windows mobility center brightness control has no affect.

issue you're experiencing might due variety of reasons. 1 of due corrupted system files.

being said, let's see if these steps can return sleep option:

  1. right-click the start icon, choose control panel.
  2. choose hardware , sound, change power buttons do below power options.
  3. check sleep box under shutdown settings.
  4. click save changes.

note: make sure have administrator rights.

oh, way, can please provide screenshot of icons in action center?

let know if steps above showed sleep option.
