screen resolution size not show.

hi john, if right click desktop, choose desktop settings, mean screen resolution not showing there?

screen distorted?

if answer above yes, display driver need rolling . . . windows update has lately been installing incorrect display drivers . . .

open device manager (accessible right clicking start button)
expand display adapters section
right click graphics card, choose properties
on driver tab, click 'roll driver'

close device manager , restart system

if rollback option greyed out:

right click on display adapter, click 'uninstall device'
choose 'delete driver software device' click 'uninstall'
restart computer (myst restart, not shut down)
windows download correct driver

if above not work, have amd ati graphics card

open device manager (accessible right clicking start button)

expand display adapters section
right click graphics card, choose properties running version 22.19.128.0

right click on display adapter, click 'uninstall device'
choose 'delete driver software device' click 'uninstall'

restart pc

open device manager (accessible right clicking start button)

go display adapter - update driver - browse computer... - let me pick...

in there should find old display driver - 8.970.100.9001 (or sometings similar)

install driver

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
