this doesn't happen time, after pc has been running while.  this error occurs when start pc.

the exception illegal instruction

an attempt made execute illegal instruction.

(0xc000001d) occured in application @ location 0xfb592e9.

click on ok terminate program.

click on cancel  to debug program.


relevant pc specs:

  • windows 10 home
  • intel(r) core i7-6500u cpu @2.50ghz
  • 8gb ram

the error code can due program's configuration on device. better understand concern, we'd know following:

  • the last activities performed on device prior concern.
  • the version , build of windows 10 you're using on device. check this, can perform steps posted on link.

in addition, we'd request information posted after device debugs specified program. this, click on cancel option when prompted error initiate debugging process.

in meantime, we'd recommend performing clean boot in windows isolate software conflicts on device. this, can perform steps posted on link. in clean boot environment, check if you'll still error message. link provide steps isolate cause of concern. once you're done troubleshooting, check how reset computer start after clean boot troubleshooting section of link revert device normal boot.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
