Windows 10 won't boot - Microsoft Community

i running win 10 on lenovo yoga. updated "creators" version.

now when starting error message visual c++ runtime library:

"c:\windows\system32\logonui.exe requested runtime shutdown in unusual way"

i have tried reverting last recovery point (15th dec 2017), have tried auto recovery, have used online advice , tried run dism /online error:

dism not support servicing windows pe /online option.

advice on says run safe mode, cannot enter safe mode.

help needed please.

since you're using windows 10 computer, it's possible update major upgraded 1 of current versions of windows 10. we'd verify if you're referring creators update or recent version, fall creators update. verify windows, press windows + r open run window. type winver , press enter. new window open showing version , build number of windows device.

if have user account existing, please switch , verify if error persist. can create new one if don't have available user account. additionally, can repair windows media creation tool or windows installer. see deepika gowda's post on thread regarding startup repair. found helpful community , too.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance.
