User Profiles not uploading at Start - Microsoft Community

hi,

after got update windows 10 version 1709 (kb4058043) on dec 16, 2017 profile(s) not getting uploaded @ start. seems there kind of "default" profile being uploaded has basic stuff with minimum applications not interested on- none of programs showing whatsoever !!! -.

i checked user folders , seems information there computer keeps uploading, i'm assuming w10 "default" profile, minimum applications.

i removed update following microsoft instructions , rebooted computer previous update default profile getting uploaded @ startup.

in c:\users there default folder totally empty.

i need resolve issue urgently.

your computer might have experience fresh start when upgrade occurred last december 16, 2017, , user profiles on got affected well. however, let not jump conclusions yet until isolated concern. let's see if we'll able recover missing user profile using command line in command prompt.

1. open cmd administrator.
2. enter command "net localgroup “administrators” [computer name][missing user] /add".
3. once done, restart computer.

you may check if you'll see missing user profile/s in local user , groups manager. here steps on how so:

1. press windows + r on keyboard, type in lusrmgr.msc.
2. click on users, check if missing user profile on right pane.

let know if above steps worked.
