New Microsoft Designer Keyboard volume control key stops working - Microsoft Community

i have new microsoft designer bluetooth keyboard. after have left while, or rebooted, stops functioning. normal keys start working after delay volume controls , other special keys not function unless remove device , add new bluetooth device.

also, if press volume control or other special keys locks keyboard short while. 

i have set bluetooth support service , human interface device service on , start automatically.

the designer mouse fine. computer new (hp envy all-in-one) , windows 10 , device drivers up-to-date.

i tried microsoft support less helpful.

this issue compatibility issue of bluetooth device build , version of windows 10. give best resolution, kindly answer following:

  • which build , version of windows 10 using?
  • are experiencing same issue on other user profiles?

in meantime, suggest follow these steps use bluetooth troubleshooter try fix issue:

  1. click start button , select settings.
  2. select update & security , click troubleshoot.
  3. under find , fix other problems, select bluetooth > run troubleshooter.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
