try updating driver :
control panel - network - write down make , model of wifi - double click on - driver's tab - write down version - click update driver (may not ms far behind certifying drivers). right click on wifi device , uninstall - reboot - refresh driver stack.
check system/motherboard maker's site , of actual device maker (such intel, realtek, broadcom, or atheros) newer drivers.
manually @ manufacturer's sites drivers - , device maker's sites.
