i have lenovo ideapad flex-4 (bought january 2017, new device) & have noticed laptop has been getting slower , slower in past fouple of days. freezes randomly , programs use "not responding" more , more. time had turned off laptop , turned on , had black screen (with white movable curser only) 30 minutes. thought computer had messed horribly. shortly after 30 minute wait opened screensaver let me login account.. put in pss word (which awfully slow also) , loading 10 minutes thinking finally!! im getting somewhere.... them message popped "the user profile service service failed sign-in. user profile cannot loaded" , dont know do! im freaking out! mother bought me laptop gift , hope not screwed because im literally in tears right now! please 1 help!!! asap!!!! oh , dont know if may have (i dont think because laptop getting slow kn start of yesterday never nlt letting me login) did set magnet on top of laptop near lower right corner (right of touchpad & bottom right of keyboard) , wasnt big magnet @ all... ive hear stories magnets possiy mess laptop dont know if thats true... anywaus though me out pleasee & thank you!!

issue may have been caused corrupted user account.

know more concern. kindly provide more details answering following questions:

  • are running administrator of computer?
  • is there other administrator account set on device aside account?

meanwhile, suggest boot computer in safe mode. safe mode starts windows in limited state, bare essentials started. check if encounter same issue while in safe mode. instructions, may refer article. can choose whether boot computer settings or sign-in screen.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance.
