Pressing start button, Pwr. & Disc lights come on, then Disc - Microsoft Community

hi guys , ladies, have had problem since last big update win 10-64. have assue protection, though have tried best cannot resolve issue. have acer e1-470g laptop. when press start button, pwr. , disc light come on, acer logo appears disc disengages, disc light goes out, , not continue load. sits there blank screen. pressing start button again , holding down, laptop shuts down, lights come on, , starts load normally.

today took 3 attempts going, fear worse time goes on. windows support did in bag of tricks remotely, thought norton 360 may cause, uninstalled. tried sys restore, failed, error message disc error. tired in-place reinstall, , chkdisc passed. reinstalled norton 360, didn't have reinstall norton 360 since have account, had sign in , checks passed.

when up, , running restart no problem, on cold start actions described above happen.

if has had this,  or similar issue on cold start up, appreciate help.

based on information provided it's possible have corrupted system files prevent computer start normally. resolve concern, suggest run system file checker (sfc) tool , dism.

sfc , dism scan , repair corrupted system files. kindly refer article below.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance.
