Guest account being blank on Windows 10 - Microsoft Community

        day! now, have solved issue built-in administrator not allowed open pre-installed apps via creating administrator account, , transferring files via public folder. (i still using tho, im switching if want or not.)

        , tried setting guest account don't know @ first if still works on win10 reason. worked fine on windows 7, however, loads hours , hours on first time opened on upgraded laptop (windows 10.) i set thing @ 7 in evening, it's still loading until midnight. being honest, started grow impatient , shut laptop down. , second time, tried logging on again. loaded other accounts do, slower , longer. relieved worked, became confused on why became... black. there's mouse cursor, still clickable , movable, there's no taskbar, no start button, no background, no programs-just cursor moving , loading it's fine, alarmed on reminder repeats closed it:

        alarmed since learned in computer class, shell things important on starting system, kernel, bios , operating system itself. shut down , powering laptop on again, still logs in guest account. scared, since restarting multiple times caused battery on our old windows 7 dell laptop not work, until charger plugged in (that laptop still usable today, used cousins on distant city), , upgraded computer dell laptop, 1 more recent. thankfully, switched accounts via closing laptop screen or lid (thankfully sleeps when close lid or screen, never changed setting). question is, because shut system down while still unfinished loading? clearing things out...

there problems similar one, time it's on windows 10, , not 7.

***note: semi-personal laptop. meaning though laptop mine , can freely on system, still used mother view search history, setting confidential documents , such when comes home abroad.***

corrupted user account 1 of many possible reasons why issue happening. suggesting creating regular local account instead. click link to know how create local user account.

if comes up, don't hesitate anytime.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance.
