fwpuclnt.dll issues - Microsoft Community

it seems ever since windows 10 (1703) update made available pc (july 2017), has been mess. has become bad has software download internet ... fails. errors point file:

c:\windows\system32\fwpuclnt.dll

the error window pops "bad image". says:

c:\windows\system32\fwpuclnt.dll either not designed run on windows or contains error. try installing program again using original installation media or contact system administrator or software vendor support. error status 0xc0000020.

to resolve issue, refreshed windows twice; first saving documents , second time scrapping away. i'm still not getting work. have tried reinstalling antivirus (kaspersky), google chrome. nothing seems work.

googling issue, found old posts. tried them still nothing seems fix issue. tried running sfc command too:

microsoft windows [version 10.0.15063]
(c) 2017 microsoft corporation. rights reserved.

c:\windows\system32>sfc /scannow

beginning system scan.  process take time.

beginning verification phase of system scan.
verification 100% complete.

windows resource protection did not find integrity violations.

c:\windows\system32>

hi,

either device incompatible creators update or software conflict third-party antivirus installed on pc possible reasons why encountered such "fwpuclnt.dll" issues. recommend disable third-party antivirus software installed on pc in meantime , use windows defender instead.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance. ...
