Macbook pro 2017 bootcamp windows 10 freezes when connecting Apple USB - Microsoft Community

hello community,

i have macbook pro 15 2017.

from start have been using mac os , windows interchangeably.

one day connected apple usb c adapter , windows froze. checked if same problem in macos , not seem appear.

other usb c adapters work same.

i work around found starting windows letting run bit connecting usb adapter.

the laptop sees usb devices connected usb c adapter not see hdmi problem. turns screen connected on , off , gets stable connection.

what in case? known issue? there fix windows?

the challenges you're having when try connect usb c adapter computer when booting in windows 10 may related driver of device itself. considering have tried connecting different usb device , working, there possibility facing compatibility issue between hardware of device , windows 10. clarify, have tried contacting manufacturer of usb c digital adapter , see if there specific drivers need use along it?

another possible factor issue if windows 10 drivers not working properly. here link updating drivers on windows 10 not working expected.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance.
