so games have been crashing due 10016 errors. here's say.

i know fix, being going registry , changing permissions on keys in clsid, when go appids in component services says, "one or more of permission entries attached registry value has unrecognized type , can not displayed." first appid when hit "edit", second 1 doesn't that. problem is, when go try edit those, "add/remove" buttons complete greyed out. there's issue of "account unknown s-1-5-15-3" can't figure out.


i've tried fresh install , it's still doing it. god hate windows 10, have never had trouble because of nothing operating system in life.

are using administrator account? if using administrator account, best possible way fix issue creating new administrator account. can following steps on link: create local user or administrator account in windows 10. make sure user files before doing so.

one more thing, remember installing application possibly manipulating registry key? such applications anti-viruses, partition manager softwares, hardware tweaking applications (cpu-z,gpu-z, motherboard softwares, etc.). also, make sure pc has maximum of 1 other anti-virus software installed side side windows defender.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance.
