Driver Power State Failure after upgrading to Fall Creators Update, - Microsoft Community

hello, first time using community support, need help!

this quite new laptop, bought 1 month ago.

i accidentally updated windows 10 falls creators update because downloaded after open windows update in setting. didn't think update bring me issues, leave (it's been more 10 days can't roll back)

recently found issues. laptop got bosd power state failure if open adobe photoshop.

i did "reset pc" in windows settings, , bosd still happening!

some things happened before reset pc: desktop unresponding (but can open other programs fine) can't selective box, can't right clik, task bar preview , task manager display acted weird after launch game on steam, quitting game won't help.

so decided reset pc.

now reset, problem still happening, , don't know now. 

do need factory reset laptop? or need custom installation downgrade windows 10 (before updates)?

blue screen errors may caused incompatible/outdated drivers. suggest perform rollback on display driver , see if issue persists. here steps:

  1. press windows + x.
  2. click device manager.
  3. expand display adapters.
  4. right click intel hd graphics.
  5. click properties.
  6. click driver tab.
  7. click rollback.

any update highly appreciated.

hello, so bought new laptop came windows 10 pre-installed. when unpacking, store clerk created dummy local account used when starting first time - make process faster syncing microsoft account, can sync later - said. anyway, done , welcomed desktop. synced microsoft account , went in. synced right away - down wallpapers , themes - save 1 thing; the account name. it still using dummy local account name, despite picture has changed account picture. clicked 'sign in microsoft account instead', , process failed in end. said "[my e-mail account] here already. user in device uses microsoft account, can't add here" i tried removing e-mail & app account under 'e-mail & app account' tab , when tried again, still didn't work. please, want name here. oh, , don't know topic should fall - there's no 'sync' specifically, pick 1 think closest. sorry in advance.
