canoscan 5000f won't work windows 10 (64 bit), feeling helpless. can 1 me? hi partha, there lot of possibilities why issue occur compatibility of new build device. suggest visit manufacturer website download , install latest drivers in compatibility mode. here the steps: 1. right-click on setup file , select   properties . 2. select   compatibility   tab. 3. check   run program in compatibility mode . 4. let canoscan 5000f scanner install , check functionality. you may check link as reference canon scanner not working in windows 10. let know how goes , feel free if need further assistance. i've been going & forth asus support laptop running win 10 64 bit. 2/3ds of time when start have no wireless connection, browser tells me run windows network diagnostics , it's fixed. support told me go device mgr , uninstall wireless adapter, don't uninstall driver software, restart , let windows re install driver. after doing that, have no wireless , windows net diagnostics can't fix problem. went solution 2 go bios , f9 load optimized defaults, still no help. want asus site , downloaded drivers computer. tried install them keeps telling me newer drivers installed can't it. thought had un installed wireless network adapter several times still saw there. odd driver have dated 11/2016 driver off asus site dated 7/2016. today uninstalled wireless driver again, restarted, windows on restart did not install driver. tried install 7/2016 driver asus website intel installer still says installation blocked since newer version installed. ...
